Dance Teaching Artist Opportunities
Dance Teaching Artist applicants need:
- Significant experience teaching dance and movement to Special Start and/or junior-kindergarten through fourth grade students (2 grades minimum)
- Experience incorporating academic content into movement and dance sessions
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Start the application process
Intern Opportunities
Dance in the Schools hires interns to work in the areas of funding research, grant writing, marketing, and management. Interns work remotely 3-6 hours per week including regular meetings with Managing Director Kate Bresee.
Applicants should:
- Have excellent written communication skills
- Have strong research skills
- Be detail-oriented, organized, and effective at time management
- Be problem-solvers who face challenges with a positive attitude
- Be passionate about the arts, education and social impact
