Manasa Jayanthi
Dance teaching artist
Manasa Jayanthi is an Indian American Bharatanatyam dancer, educator, and choreographer. She is Artistic Director of the Nrityanjali School of Dance, and Founder of Manasa Arts LLC and currently serves as the Community Engagement Director for Global Indian. She has performed widely across the U.S. and India, both as a soloist and principal dancer with the Nrityanjali Dance Company. Her work is rooted in South Indian traditions, with a dynamic bridge to the contemporary. She emphasizes storytelling, social consciousness, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Manasa’s vision is to celebrate dance and art as living, evolving forces that honor tradition while creating space for innovation, diverse voices, entrepreneurship, and transformative experiences. She is joining the Dance in the Schools team in 2026.
