Ken Pierce
Dance teaching artist
Ken Pierce trained and performed as a ballet and modern dancer. He has worked in the field of historical dance for over forty years, as a researcher, performer, choreographer, and teacher. Currently, he teaches historical dance at the Longy School of Music of Bard College (Cambridge), the Powers Music School (Belmont), and Northeast Arts (Jamaica Plain), where he also teaches ballet. Ken taught for several years with Dance in the Schools until 2015 and he is delighted to be returning in 2025.
