Ashlyn O’Dowd

Ashlyn O’Dowd, MA, LMHC, BC-DMT, is the Assistant Director of Boston Children’s Foundation, home of Rainbowdance®. Under the mentorship of founder and director Dicki Johnson Macy, Ph.D., LMHC, BC-DMT, Ashlyn is an endorsed Rainbowdance® practitioner, a certified Isadora Duncan Children’s Pedagogy Teacher, and a member of the Guardians of Isadora dance troupe. As a dance/movement therapist, she leads Rainbowdance® and Duncan Dance groups throughout the Boston area, fostering creativity and community connection.
Ashlyn began her Rainbowdance® and Duncan Dance training in 2020 as an intern at Boston Children’s Foundation. She earned her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in 2021. Ashlyn joined the Dance in the Schools team in 2025.
