Angela Schatz
Dance Teaching Artist
Angela was born in the United States and grew up in Israel. From age 9 she began performing Israeli Dance in the U.S. and continued in Israel. Throughout high school she danced ballet, modern, Israeli and International Folk Dance, receiving her Israeli Dance teaching certification at a young age. A few years after high school, Angela spent two years in New York City dancing tap, ballet, Afro Brazilian and performing with an Israeli Folk Dance group.
Moving back to the U.S. Angela received her B.S. in Creative Dance from Lesley University. While still studying, Angela began and continues to teach Creative Dance to children from 1.5 – 8 years old in preschools, daycare centers, community centers, private day schools and summer camps around Greater Boston and environs.
Angela also teaches Hebrew to all ages. She enjoys teaching, choreographing, dancing, walking in nature and the beautiful things life has to offer.
